Aurora RT may be downloaded by clicking the link on the project introductory page or via Ayrware's download page. Once you have obtained the Aurora installer, right click on the file and select properties from the bottom of the pop-up menu. With reference to figure 3 below, click the button labelled 'Unblock' at the bottom of the 'General' property page.

Clicking this button ensures that any zone information appended to the .exe file is removed - this is applicable to both Windows XP and Vista. You should then run the application installer in the usual manner.
When Aurora RT is run for the first time, you will be presented with a dialog application similar to that in figure 1, on the introductory page. Initially, you must configure the application by selecting both log file and presentation directories. For example, to select a log file directory, click the 'Configure' button and, on the Directories page, click the 'Choose' button. A dialog box, similar to the one in figure 4, will be displayed.
Figure 4, choosing a log file directory
Highlighting the 'Logs' folder, as per figure 4, then clicking the Ok button will populate the log file edit field, on the directories page, with the full path of the selected directory. The same steps should be followed to select the presentation file directory; a folder named 'Tests', containing an example presentation, was created by default when the Aurora files were extracted by the installer.
Assuming log and presentation file directories have been selected as described above, the presentation list box on the main application GUI should be used to select a presentation, prior to pressing 'Start'. Note, this list box will contain an entry for each file in the presentation directory - presentation names will be displayed and not actual file names.
